Trent Thompson
CEO and Co-Founder

Trent Thompson is a highly experienced Aboriginal Land Rights Consultant, specialising in Crown Lands, Aboriginal community engagement, and public land administration. With deep ancestral ties to the Barkandji, Ngemba, Gamilaroi, and Dunghutti nations, Trent’s work is driven by a passion for empowering Indigenous communities and helping land councils navigate complex legal frameworks such as the Native Title Act and NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act.

Throughout his career, Trent has successfully facilitated negotiations between Indigenous landowners, government entities, and private corporations, ensuring land councils can maximise their land’s potential while upholding cultural and community values. His vision for New Tracks Solutions is to create sustainable economic opportunities for Indigenous Australians, supporting generational wealth and self-determination through strategic land activation and development.
